I remember a time when Coach was the “it” brand. Even celebrities wanted to be seen carrying Coach bags as accessories. Not long after, it became cheap and tacky to wear them. Coach went from affordable luxury to being too common to be seen in.
Remember this? This bag had people going crazy! Everyone wanted a Coach bag, so they mass produced them, and this ended up being their downfall.
Fast forward to 2023 with a surge of Y2K fashion amongst Gen Z, the move that put Coach back on top with their campaign featuring Paris Hilton and the relaunch of the classic Swinger bag. Featuring subtle, neutral colors like cream, black, and green.
