Spring outfits that you can wear day or night

Spring outfits that you can wear day or night were crucial for me when I worked in the city. I live in New Jersey and I used to commute into Manhattan every week day. On some days,  I would work a full 8 hour shift and then go on to some kind of after work event.  I didn’t want to carry a whole lot on the train, so I would bring a bag with just accessories.   I had to learn how to take the same look from day to night. So I became an expert at what I like to refer to as the “301” 3 outfits in one day. I’m in ad tech, so we dress pretty casually for work. I always want to be comfortable at work and if I had to go out to dinner or and event after work , I definitely wanted to look chic without changing my entire outfit.  No matter what, I always seemed to end the day even more comfy in a pair of sneakers on my way back to NJ on the train or in an Uber.

Ladies you can’t go wrong with an oversized white button down shirt and a pair of loose fitted jeans.

Here’s how I would take the same look from day to night.  The shirt and denim jeans are from Uniqlo
